[ Overview ]
Rivvi is a social network for car enthusiasts. The product was already running but the team was looking for a redesign direction — how to raise the interface to the level of the cars shown in it, and bring product flows in line with patterns from modern social apps. We delivered a new visual system, reworked all key screens, and shipped a clickable PWA prototype for user testing and investor pitches.

v1-two-sigma.vercel.app ↗[ The challenge ]
The brief.
Reels worked in a non-standard split layout (cognitive barrier). Catalog had overlapping search and content. Garage greeted users with an empty state — value not legible. Profile showed '0 posts' instead of a reason to return. Menu was a flat list of 12 items with no visual hierarchy.
[ The approach ]
How we shipped it.
- 01
Direction: Premium Automotive Editorial — fusion of a premium automotive magazine and a modern social network. Palette: Ink #050505, RIVVI #FF6A1A, Champagne #E8C68A for PRO features, Live #23D27F. Typography: Unbounded (display, Cyrillic) + Manrope (body) + JetBrains Mono (numbers with tabular-nums).
- 02
Reels rebuilt to full-screen vertical with swipe ↑↓ (Instagram pattern). Right action rail, progress bars, music ticker, car chip routing into the catalog.
- 03
Garage transformed from empty state into auto-cockpit: portfolio value with monthly delta, service reminders, status tabs, mileage/valuation cards with quick actions.
- 04
Add-vehicle: VIN scanner with corner frames and animated scan line, manual entry as fallback, 'what happens next' checklist removes first-step anxiety.
- 05
13 interactive routes, 143 KB JS on the heaviest screen. PWA: manifest + service worker, installs to home screen on iPhone and Android with a floating Install button and bottom-sheet instructions per platform.
